The best day of the entire year is approaching. Aquabear Legion’s annual Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, January 29th at ARTS/West in Athens, Ohio! Last year we decided it made sense to involve the unbelievable local food community here in the Athens area with our fundraiser to help support unbelievable local music and the best day of the year became even better. ALL WEEK we will be spotlighting the local food producers and businesses we are working with this year. See you all at the Aquabear Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, January 29th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at ARTS/West, 132 West State Street in Athens. The Aquabear is very excited to top all the pancakes this Sunday with some Sticky Pete’s Maple Syrup from right here in Athens County! Sticky Pete’s can be found everywhere from Casa Nueva to the Easton Farmers Market in Columbus and it is fantastic. We could not ask for anything better to top our pancakes with. It’s the beginning of a new year and that means… It’s Aquabear Legion Pancake Breakfast time! This year we host the best breakfast of the year at ARTS/West on Sunday, January 29th from 1pm-4pm. Last year’s event was so much fun and the food was great so we decided once again to go ALL LOCAL with the food, local food being used to support local music makes sense to us! This year will mark our SIXTH Pancake Breakfast. $5 will get you: • all-you-can-eat pancakes (made with Shagbark Mill spelt flour and Snowville milk) • Donkey Coffee • Snowville Chocolate Milk (while it lasts) • and special treats throughout the afternoon • Sticky Pete’s Maple Syrup and homemade butter and whipped cream from Snowville products (while it lasts) and for a bonus $1 upgrade donation (no limit, while supplies last) you can choose: • a Blockhead Donut (from Fluff Bakery) OR • a piece of delicious King Family Farms bacon Special thanks to ARTS/West, Snowville Creamery, Sticky Pete’s Maple Syrup, Donkey Coffee, Fluff Bakery & Catering, Shagbark Mill & Seed, King Family Farm, Athens Farmers Market, and everyone else who is helping out. Pancakes in Review!

Thanks to all who came out for our annual Aquabear Legion Pancake Breakfast at ARTS/West last Sunday. It was our most successful one yet, and I have to say it was the tastiest one too. Lots of thank you’s and love to send around so please see below and support those who support the Aquabear! Pictures from John McVicker, and more below! Aquabear Legion is holding a Pancake Breakfast in the basement of ARTS/West on Sunday, January 25th from 2pm-5pm. This is our big fundraiser for the Aquabear County Fair on March 5-7, 2009 and we want everyone to come out and support local music and art! Come eat all the pancakes you have along with coffee, juice, and maybe even a little bacon. Tickets are ONLY $5!
