The best day of the entire year is approaching. Aquabear Legion’s annual Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, January 29th at ARTS/West in Athens, Ohio! Last year we decided it made sense to involve the unbelievable local food community here in the Athens area with our fundraiser to help support unbelievable local music and the best day of the year became even better. ALL WEEK we will be spotlighting the local food producers and businesses we are working with this year. King Family Farm is located just outside of Athens in Albany, Ohio and makes some of the finest pork and chicken products I have ever had. You can find their items used in restaurants all over the state and can purchase them yourself at the Athens Farmers Market. Aquabear uses King Family Farm bacon at our annual Pancake Breakfast and we use their eggs in our pancake mix too. “ King Family Farm pork products are all made from hogs naturally raised on our farm in Albany, Ohio. We use no growth hormones or antibiotics in our feeds. We process our own feed using locally grown grains. No animal or industrial by-products. ” Sounds good to us.
